Allison Wolf – Vancouver, BC
As a coach with over 20 years of experience, my strengths lie in business development, practice management, and career growth at all levels of seniority. Having worked with a wide range of clients from every area of practice, I have developed a deep understanding of the national and international legal marketplace, which informs my approach.
My coaching practice is grounded in neuroscience, helping lawyers and law firms take a brain-aligned approach to leadership, productivity, and sustainable success. By integrating the latest insights into how the brain works best, I support my clients in optimizing their decision-making, focus, resilience, and performance. This science-backed approach enables legal professionals to navigate high-pressure environments more effectively while fostering well-being and long-term career satisfaction.
I also have extensive experience working with neurodiverse clients, tailoring my coaching to meet their unique strengths, challenges, and ways of thinking. By creating strategies that work with—not against—their natural cognitive styles, I help neurodiverse lawyers and professionals thrive in their careers while ensuring that law firms develop more inclusive and supportive workplaces.
Recognizing the challenges faced by law firm leaders, I founded the Flourishing Law Centre, a program designed specifically for founders and partners of small and midsized law firms. This initiative provides the critical support they need to reduce frustration, worry, and exhaustion—transforming firm leadership into a more satisfying, focused, and growth-oriented experience.
In addition to my coaching practice, I have over 20 years of experience as an in-house legal marketing and business development professional for law firms of all sizes and scope. My career began with the Beijing, New York, and Washington D.C. offices of an international law firm, followed by roles with a national Canadian firm and two large regional firms. As a recognized expert in legal marketing and business development, I am frequently invited to write for U.S. and Canadian legal journals and present to professional associations and private law firms.
I am a Certified Executive Coach and member of the International Coaching Federation, a former board member of West Coast LEAF, and a former President of both the LMA Vancouver Chapter and the Pacifica Family Addictions Foundation. I received my Executive Coaching Certification (CEC) from Royal Roads University in 2004, a program accredited by the International Coaching Federation. I am also a 2014 graduate of the Martha Beck Life Coach Training program.
